About intercoms & door entry
Audio and video intercoms let you see or speak to visitors at a gate or door and open it remotely, including IP and app-based systems.
Used at houses, flats and HMOs, offices and gated developments.
Local considerations in Barnstaple, Devon
In England, powered gates and barriers are machinery: they must be installed and maintained so they are safe in use (BS EN 12453 force limits, photocells and safety edges) under health and safety law, and any gate onto a road must not open over the highway.
Work in Barnstaple is a mix of residential blocks, schools, offices, industrial units and homes, and we tailor the specification to how busy the site is.
We check cable routes, number of flats, power, network and the lock or gate interface.
