Local considerations in Stretford, Trafford
In England, powered gates and barriers are machinery: they must be installed and maintained so they are safe in use (BS EN 12453 force limits, photocells and safety edges) under health and safety law, and any gate onto a road must not open over the highway.
Work in Stretford is a mix of residential blocks, schools, offices, industrial units and homes, and we tailor the specification to how busy the site is.
We assess every crush, shear and trapping point and fit edges and photocells to suit, then force-test.
